The American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (ASBMB)

The American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB)
Mission:
Held over several days in December, the ASCB Annual Meeting attracts more than 9,000 people. The meeting includes scientific symposia and over 3,000 presentations of recent advances in cell biology. The meeting also features commercial exhibits of products and services for scientists working in the field of experimental biology. Argonne Symposium for Undergraduates in Science, Engineering and Mathematics
Mission: The Twentieth Annual Argonne Symposium for Undergraduates in Science, Engineering and Mathematics invites undergraduate authors to submit abstracts on their research. The Argonne National Laboratory, one of the U.S. Department of Energy's oldest and largest national laboratories for science and engineering research is dedicated to applying a unique mix of world-class science, engineering and user facilities to deliver innovative research and technologies, and to create new knowledge that addresses the most important scientific and societal needs of our nation. The 34th Annual West Coast Biological Sciences Undergraduate Research Conference

Graduate Women in Science Conference
Mission: The Sigma Chapter of the Graduate Women in Science presents the annual Science Conference, which is designed to encourage women in the pursuit of degrees and careers in the sciences. The focus of this conference is to allow both undergraduate and graduate students practice presenting their research in a formal setting. Students who enter are asked to give a ten-minute PowerPoint presentation of their own research to the judges and general audience. A prize of $300 will be awarded to the best presentation in each of the following categories of degree candidates: Bachelors, Masters, and Ph.D. A second-place award of $200 will also be awarded in categories with four or more entries. Mercury Conference In Undergraduate Computational Chemistry
Mission: This conference is a great opportunity for undergraduates to learn about the breadth of research in computational chemistry, particularly in interdisciplinary topics, and to discuss their work with other undergraduate computational chemists as well as some leaders in the field. Sigma Xi Student Research Conference
Mission: The Sigma Xi Student Research Conference is held each year in conjunction with the Society’s Annual Meeting. The Society for Advancement of Chicanos and Native Americans in Science National Conference
Mission: SACNAS is committed to promoting graduate science education for Chicano/Latino, Native American, and other underrepresented minority students. In addition to administering several grants and summer programs, SACNAS holds an annual conference where educators, scientists, graduate and undergraduate students all make presentations.
