1999 Symposium

The 1999 UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium, held on May 15, 1999, was a very successful event. The Symposium's theme, "The Research Community: A UCI Perspective," reflected the diverse nature and collaborative emphasis that has come to epitomize UCI, not only on the campus and within our local community, but also within the global research environment. We were honored to have Chancellor Ralph J. Cicerone as the keynote speaker. His insightful talk was a highlight of the day's events and reflected UCI's dedication to helping prepare students to become leaders and innovators of the future.
