Dear Members of the UCI Community:
You are cordially invited to join us at the Twenty-Fifth Annual
UCI Undergraduate Research Symposium to be held on Saturday,
May 19, 2018, in the UCI Student Center. This year’s theme, “Undergraduate Research: Innovation & Collaboration,” reminds us of the power of relationships in fostering the process of discovery. We are pleased to announce that this year’s Keynote Speaker will be Dr. Elizabeth E. Cauffman, Professor of Psychology and Social Behavior.
This stimulating day-long
event promises to be exciting and educational. Oral panel sessions
and poster presentations will allow undergraduates
from all disciplines to present their research, address questions,
and engage in discussions with other students, faculty, staff,
and
members of the community. At lunch, we present an exciting collection
of dance performances. A highlight of the day will be the presentation
of the Chancellor's
Awards for Excellence in Undergraduate Research to outstanding
faculty and students.
Your participation is a significant element in the success of this
Symposium. It will directly support a community committed to the
discovery and communication of knowledge. We hope you will be able
